A big contributor to Solar Shock Pictures over the last year has been Sugar Ray Dodge, a talented novelist. He wrote the script for the Danny Chadwick directed short feature Plain City, provided the voice for narration, and has written numerous other novels.
Solar Shock has acquired the rights to his novel Happy Valley with plans on making it a full length film in the very near future.
The recent friends of Solar Shock Pictures, WhirlyBird Helicopters provides the company with aerial shots in their productions. Most notably is the work provided by them in the 48 Hour Film Challenge project called The Ward.

A big supporter of Solar Shock Pictures over the past year has been the community theater of Village Green. Services include screenings of Solar Shock films, meeting rooms for Solar Shock events, and of course a versatile shooting location included in several episodes of The Game Plan, and the films Protocol, Strain, and Plain City.
Support local theater by attending a show at The Village Green. Shows run Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Additionally, every Friday night is Improv night with the International Conspiracy.
One of the greatest “friends” of Solar Shock, if not thee greatest “friend” is the crew over at The Local Landing. Like us, The Local Landing has a high priority of focusing on everything local. Their talented group has been featured in many Solar Shock films ranging from every episode of The Game Plan series, to the films Strain, Protocol, Lachrymose, Plain City, and The Ward.

Solar Shock wouldn’t be where it was today if it wasn’t for our friends at B.O.M.B. The group features some of the original members of Solar Shock and B.O.M.B. has managed to continue doing what they love. And you might love them too. Their talents include film, music, and podcasts with topics from Video Games, Tech News, and whatever else is on their minds at the time.

PhantomFX has been a big asset to Solar Shock over the last few productions. His talented work can be seen in the films Beyond Amity and The Ward. Aside from their great work with Solar Shock, PhantomFX has put on the events of the Zombie Prom and the New Moon Twilight Ball in Ogden, supporting Juvenile Diabetes.
Their work is impressive, and they support a great cause!
Not a friend per se, although I wish he were! John August is the talented and successful screenwriter of Tim Burton’s Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, and the upcoming films Frankenweenie and Dark Shadows.
